Nanoskin Metal & Plastics is a nanotechnology based coating specially designed for the treatment of metallic and plastic surfaces. The coating is based on silicon dioxide and ethanol. Nanoskin Metal & Plastics is mainly used to treat metal surfaces in order to achieve the easy-to-clean effect.
For industrial applications that have a lot to do with wear, corrosion, abrasion, etc., we recommend using Nanoskin Anti-Corrosion. After applying Nanoskin Metal & Plastics, the substrate acquires a super hydrophobic character, which can be observed when water is poured over the surface. This will result in a pearling effect of the water. Because of this hydrophobic characteristic, Nanoskin Metal & Plastics also offers optimal protection against dirt and grease. As a result, dirt and grease spots are noticeably less present and can be easily removed.
